Just a reminder it is cats that got me here. If you remember or read my firsts posts you’ll know it was one cat that initially got me here, Manisha. I always think of her and am grateful her story brought me to visiting the rescue, meeting Katie, and being able to make these trips a reality.

Wednesday I met Katie and another volunteer for an early afternoon coffee down in city center. I have been wanting to go to the 2nd floor cafe in Waterstones bookstore so after a bit of shopping (the suitcase just got heavier) we made our way there. It is such a beautiful building and I am enjoyed a flat white, which I honestly enjoy more than the pints.

This week Kitty Cottage became a lot busier and I have been every morning to volunteer. I ride a bike to and from the rescue so my legs are feeling the burn but in a good way. I also worked every day so the time unfortunately has passed quickly this week.

Thursday evening Katie and I enjoyed a spontaneous curry at a long standing restaurant called the International. It was a really nice place and I have never had a chicken tikka like this. Both the company and the food were amazing! This brings me up to Friday, which deserves its on post. Below, enjoy pictures from my week.
