In the spirit of keeping up-to-date, now that my trip is almost over! Last night, Katie and Jennie and I had the most wonderful meal at another restaurant. The curries here in Bradford are unmatched! I feel like I have known these two women forever and we always try to find time to go out just the three of us.

Today, the Friday gang, Katie, Flora, Serena, Carol, and myself made our way into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We went to the Wensleydale creamery, which is in Hawes. if you don’t know Wensleydale cheese you definitely should. And if you ever have an opportunity to visit the Yorkshire Dales you definitely should. It is absolutely gorgeous and for those who don’t know, this is where James Herriot and All Creatures Great and Small originated. We had lunch at a lovely tea room in Hawes and then walked around the shops. We then went to the Wensleydale creamery which has a nice gift shop and café. On the way home, we stopped in Grassington, which I hope to visit on another trip as we were kind of late in the day and just scoping it out.

Each trip to England I make a list of possible places I might see. Mostly I get ideas from Instagram. Some I can do on my own by train, some would require a car, but I always send them to Katie and she masterfully puts together these fantastic outings for us. I so enjoyed the day! I especially thank Serena for expertly driving on horse-drawn cart paths at Indy 500 speeds. These ladies are my friends and I will miss them each and every one until next time.
